The modern umbrella as we know it only came to fruition around 1850 when a wiremaker in the north of England perfected the method for making steel ribs. This man is the forefather of the company who make our newly re-launched umbrellas. Some call them the Rolls-Royce of brollies. All we know is that, as usual, we sought out the very best artisans in the world, and then persuaded them to make our exclusive DQ versions. Solid chestnut handles formed while the bark is still in place make for a masculine statement in a sea of two piece garbage. Just make sure you don't leave it in the taxi on the way home. Tile optional if you fancy a tracker on your fancy brolly.
