As usual, read from the bottom up, mix that cocktail, and enjoy.
watch: the man who invented christmas
After too much eggnog you're going to want to watch Charles Dicken's turn ruin into success as he conjures up his new novel, "A Christmas Carol."
The outfits are pretty good too.
read: a christmas carol
The first edition sold out in six days.
It has been made into more movies than we'd care to mention (including "Scrooged" from which we grabbed the image above.)
But as with all great things, the real pay dirt is in Charles Dicken's original written words. Conjuring life from the page in your own limited edition version. Created only for you, by your own imagination and experiences, from the written formula on the page.

cocktail: the old fashioned
A classic that needs almost no introduction. And with good reason. For over 200 years cocktailers have been swinging their pants to the siren tune of whisky, bitters, sugar and a twist. Make sure you use some of that good bourbon you have sneaked away.
3 dashes Angostura bitters
2 oz Bourbon
Add the sugar, bitters and water into a rocks glass, and stir until sugar is nearly dissolved.
Fill the glass with large ice cubes, add the bourbon, and gently stir to combine the flavors.
Express the oil of an orange peel over the glass, then drop in.
