Frankly Miami

Frank Sinatra and Miami's Fontaine Bleau go way back...
Ol' Blue Eyes maintained one of the hotel's penthouses as his permanent vacation pad while performing at the property's La Ronde Supper Club in the 60s, often in sold-out midnight shows, filmed three movies Tony Rome, Lady in Cement and A Hole in the Head there and made TV history with the Welcome Home Elvis special broadcast live from there in 1960. To celebrate Sinatra's 100th birthday this December, the luxury tower is inaugurating a series of special events covering a full hundred days, culminating with a live performance by an as-yet-unnamed celeb on Dec. 12 when he would have seen in a century.

The main event is the unveiling of The Frank Sinatra Photo Gallery and the launch of Sinatra Exclusive Limited Edition Book compiled by Frank's granddaughter, Amanda Erlinger on September 30. Featuring 34 original, authentic images including rare and vintage personal photos curated by the Sinatra Family Archive, the Capitol Records and Warner Bros. Records archives, renowned photographer Terry O'Neill and the estate of Ben and Bernice Novack, the original owners of Fontaine Bleau, the gallery is a must see for any student of mens style. Meanwhile the hotel is offering a special Sinatra suite package as well as a nightly toast to the chairman at the Bleau Bar, featuring his signature Jack Daniel’s Sinatra Select whiskey. We'll drink to that.
