Suite bentley

For years I’ve thought breakfast is over-rated. An old boss once amusingly commented that my perfect work schedule would involve living in London. And working on EST (Eastern Standard Time). I can’t say I disagree with him. I’ve often found myself still functional and productive into the wee hours of the night and yet groggy as a pirate the morning after at 8am.

But of course, it really depends what you wake up to as to how excited you can get about turning off the internal dream machine and opening your droopy lids to great the new day.

And waking up in the new suite Bentley has just completed in the St Regis in New York is probably a better reason than many. Of course, I’d still be a little woolly after hosting dinner in the fantastic dining room that makes for more entertaining than your average hotel suite. But that wouldn’t stop me ordering eggs and coffee in bed with a cheeky grin. We’re not all going to be lucky enough to relax and take in the atmosphere of this bespoke boudoir crafted with the legendary Bentley Boys in mind, but those who do will certainly love it.

As with most of the finer things in life, the devil is in the detail. And nearly everything in this suite was handcrafted for it as a one off piece. From the bedside tables evocative of the interior of the new Bentley SUV to the humidors and other wood veneer delectables the suite has a consistent flow to its story.

Of course, for a fee, it comes complete with a Mulsanne and driver. Just what you need to convey you around the park Arthur Bock style before you hit up somewhere special for dinner with that special person in your life.
